Writer, cartoonist and creator of the comic strip "HomeBrood," a cartoon about beer and life, which can also be enjoyed at www.hop-talk.com, a beer blog he writes with two other beer drinkers who sometimes write things. "HomeBrood," formerly known as "Beef ‘n Beer," can be found in various beer publications, newsletters and blogs. It’s a semi-autobiographical cartoon about Matt, his wife Alisa, their son Lucio and their married life surrounded by hoppy characters that always finish smooth. He currently lives in Oakland, CA, and can be found in many local breweries and bars around the Bay Area perfecting his expertise when he isn’t busy growing hops with his father on one of the last farms in Hayward.
